Italy booked their place at Euro 2024 thanks to a 0-0 draw against Ukraine on Monday night, with Napoli trio Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Giacomo Raspadori and Matteo Politano all involved at Leverkusen's BayArena.

Politano gehört in dieser bislang enttäuschenden Saison zu unseren besten Spielern. Ihn im Winter zu verkaufen, wäre aus meiner Sicht katastrophal. Es ist absolut nachvollziehbar, wenn er über dieses finanziell sehr gute Angebot nachdenkt, aber ich hoffe mal, dass Matteo lieber in Italien und bei uns bleiben möchte.

SSC Napoli have announced that Matteo Politano has signed a new contract with the club which will run until 30 June 2027.
Since first joining the Azzurri back in the 2019/20 season, initially on a loan deal, Matteo has featured 174 for times for Napoli, scoring 29 goals in the process. He also won the Coppa Italia in 2019/20 and Serie A in 2022/23.
