Eberechi Eze to Tottenham Hotspur?

Spurs are considering a late swoop for Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze as talks with Nottingham Forest over Brennan Johnson stall.
Ange Postecoglou's side are way off Forest's valuation of £50million for Johnson and time is running out to complete a deal ahead of tomorrow's 11pm transfer deadline.
According to the Independent, the Aussie boss is reportedly ready to pivot to Palace playmaker Eze as he searches for more attacking talent.
However Palace will be very reluctant to sell their star man this close to the deadline and will likely demand more than £60m.

Tottenham are aiming for a wide forward as their major summer signing, with Wolves’ Pedro Neto and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze currently the two main targets.
The decision may be made for them, however, as Manchester City are currently seen as the likeliest destination for Eze.
Ange Postecoglou’s adventurous approach has been largely based on expanding the pitch through pace out wide, which has been a key focus of his transfer business so far.
Spurs wanted to make this kind of signing in the January window but prices proved prohibitive in a much slower market.
Im vergangenen September kam kurz vor Transferschluss doch noch Nottinghams Brennan Johnson zu den Spurs, Eze blieb bei Crystal Palace und verlängerte seinen Vertrag im November bis 2027. Ungeachtet dessen soll der englische Mittelfeldspieler für den kommenden Sommer erneut ein Kandidat für einen Wechsel zum Stadtrivalen sein. Das berichtet der Independent. Tottenham wird die Kaufoption für den im Sommer von RasenBallsport Leipzig ausgeliehenen Timo Werner voraussichtlich nicht ziehen. Damit würde im Team von Ange Postecoglou wieder eine Offensivposition vakant. Auch Man City soll an Eze dran sein.
