Manchester City are braced for a big-money bid from Saudi Arabia for Kevin De Bruyne this summer.

Der saudische Ligaverband um Sportdirektor Michael Emenalo möchte im kommenden Sommer neue Stars aus Europa nach Saudi-Arabien locken und hat dabei besonders Kevin de Bruyne im Visier. Das berichten die Times und die Daily Mail übereinstimmend. Demnach kommen für den Belgier alle vier vom Public Investment Fond finanzierten Topklubs Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad und Al-Ahli infrage. Der 32-Jährige geht im Juli nach neun Jahren bei Manchester City in sein letztes Vertragsjahr. Gespräche über eine Verlängerung stehen noch aus. Noch letztes Jahr hatte de Bruyne Avancen aus Saudi-Arabien abgewiesen.
