Wie Sky erfuhr, haben sowohl Borussia Dortmund als auch Bayer Leverkusen und RB Leipzig Interesse an den beiden Juwelen. El Khannouss (Jahrgang 2004) steht beim KRC Genk unter Vertrag und gehört in der laufenden Saison trotz seiner 19 Jahre zum Stammpersonal. In der belgischen Jupiler Pro League gelangen dem gebürtigen Belgier, der auch die marokkanische Staatsbürgerschaft besitzt, bereits drei Tore und fünf Vorlagen (25 Einsätze).
